Many people seem to be neglecting the importance of a good Page Not Found (404) page when designing a website. A good 404 page should help visitors find what they are initially looking for, and keep them on the site. Not having an effective 404 page can cause a great loss of potential traffic to the site. It is amazing how some popular sites are letting their traffic escape through a poorly designed 404 page. Shh, I am also guilty of it! :P
