buytemplates.net: Your one-stop shop for website templates

buy-templates.net

Back in my web designer days, I used to visit templates websites to get an inspiration. Nowadays, I do still visit templates website but for a different reason. These days, when a client asks for a website design and development, I usually tell them that they can pick a template from a templates website and I will code it and implement it for them. It has been proving to be quite effective in making both parties happy - the client is happy because he gets to pick a template from a wide range of templates made by different designers, while I am happy because the client is happy and it saves me a lot of time as there is often no design iteration. I could concentrate on the important things behind the scene such as making the website accessible, valid and search engine friendly.

buytemplates.net is a one-stop shop for all your website templates needs. Templates are grouped into over 25 categories; ranging from Adsense, Blog, Web 2.0 to Food, Health and Real Estate. Each template costs USD $29, which in my opinion, is reasonable and afforable. You can also purchase full website templates which consist of five page layouts (homepage and five internal pages). If you are a registered member, you get an access to 1000’s of templates at a one time pay. I think buytemplates.net is a great website for web designers or developers who are just looking for an inspiration or wanting to purchase templates at a low cost.

Portable DVD player reviews

Portable DVD players have been in the market for a while, but it has recently become very popular due to its compact size and being practical for on the go use. Portable DVD players are retailed for about $100 - $300 depending on functionalities and brands.

As with purchasing anything else online, if you are looking to purchase a portable DVD player, you might want to browse different options available, compare prices, read other people’s reviews, and find out what experts have to say about them. And wize.com provides exactly that. If you go to portabl DVD player page at wize.com, you are presented with options to browse the DVD players by price, ranking, or brand. There are also 2 types of reviews available: Experts and Users, which I think is very useful because it makes the process of finding the right product easier for you by gathering information about what other users think as well as what experts say. And when you go one level deeper to view a specific product page, you will see other useful information such as price range, product details, questions that other people have asked (and answers to those questions), a list of stores which stock the product with useful information like availability, tax, shipping and total price.

ShopWiki

ShopWiki, as the name suggests, is a shopping guide which is en-powered by user generated content. But wait, there is more — it is also a shopping search engine which searches through 180,000 stores and 220 million products. The search engine allows you to refine your search result easily using tools such as price scrollbar, color, brand selections and so on.

I was in the hunt for an iPod or an MP3 player, so I had a look at the Personal Audio and Video section. The information provided is quite comprehensive, and it helped me to learn more about the products that I was thinking of buying. For example, they have buying tips for MP3 Player which tells you what to look for. And I think it is very helpful because the more knowledge you have of the product, the better decision you could make.

Another good thing about ShopWiki is that most content on the site is user generated content, and therefore, you can assume that the information provided is not for the benefit of advertisers but for users. And if you are a registered member, you can contribute towards the ShopWiki Community by editing the existing wikis / buying guides or even creating a new guide. There are also over 500 user submitted video reviews of many products available on the site.

While ShopWiki is not a retailer and does not sell any products, it helps you find the product you are looking for via the search engine and also gives you comprehensive information about the product via wiki buying guides.

Now, help me decide if I should go for a Nano or a Shuffle.

Find a Broadband provider in UK

Broadband internet connection is also known as high speed internet connection because it provides a high rate of data transmission. According to my Google Analytics, 85% of my visitors are on Broadband internet connection. This might sound unreal many years ago, however, broadband internet access has become accessible rapidly and therefore choosing a Broadband provider might becomes harder than it was in the past because there are many broadband providers available today.

BroadbandSuppliers is a website which reviews and compares Broadband Providers in UK. If you are looking for a Cheap Broadband, or a Broadband ISP in the UK, then you might want to check out the website. They compare and review the most popular providers available with speed, monthly cost, and other important information. The following top broadband providers in the UK have been reviewed:

  1. AOL Broadband
  2. Orange Broadband
  3. Pipex Broadband
  4. Tiscali Broadband
  5. Virgin Broadband

If you are not sure whether broadband access is available in your area, you can check the availability by entering your UK phone number in Check Availability page. A quick guide on how to choose a cheap broadband provider also tells you what you should be checking for when looking for a broadband provider.

Be sure to check out Broadband Guide page before researching for a provider because it describes a few common broadband terms (jargons) which will come in handy for you when speaking to technies.

Mac Poker - Online Poker for Macs and Linux

Although I am not a poker player myself, I find poker games interesting after watching Casino Royale (James Bond series). Mac Poker, as the name suggests, is a website which provides information and resources for games such as pokers and casino for Mac users. It is not only useful for those who plays poker games online, but also useful for those who just want to learn about pokers.

Mac Poker reviews and rates popular online poker rooms and websites for Mac such as PacificPoker, PokerRoom, PartyPoker, HollywoodPoker, EuroPoker, FullTilt Poker, Absolute Poker, Absolute Poker, and Bugsys Club. The reviews provide comprehensive information about the rooms including layout, customer service, games available, tournaments, players reward system, operating systems compatibility and so on. Pacific Poker is rated number 1 with an overall score of 6.93.

If you are a poker player and are looking for bonuses and bonus codes, check out Poker Bonus page which has a list of poker rooms with bonus code/special offer link for you to redeem free cash. The website also has how-to articles on poker games (for eg: How to Play Poker - Texas Holdem and Omaha) which will come in handy when you want to learn more about how to play poker games.

The best thing I like about Mac Poker Online is the website itself; it provides a positive user experience from the very start with a professional look and feel which is uncommon for online games websites.
