If you're a blogger/follow blogs from Singapore, Malaysia, you'd know what Nuffnang is. But for those who don't, Nuffnang is a blog advertising agency, or in their own words, Asia Pacific's First Blog Advertising Community. Believe it or not, Nuffnang and I go a long way back. I am a regular blog reader for many Malaysian and Singaporean blogs and I first heard about Nuffnang when it launched in Malaysia and Singapore in 2007. What I like about Nuffnang is how clever the business idea is. Nuffnang is now a successful company because the founders created a business based on what was taking off at that time - blogging and social community.
Nuffnang is now in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Australia. When I read about the many parties, contests and lucky draws that Nuffnang organised for its community in Singapore and Malaysia, I wished Nuffnang was also in Australia. And now my wish has come true! I was overjoyed when I found out about it from Timothy 's blog (one of the two Nuffnang's founders) and signed up right away. I am not sure how many aussie bloggers have signed up since then, but Karen Cheng, mummifiedtimesfive and My Living Footprints are some of the early adopters of Nuffnang Australia. And Nuffnang is looking for all Australian bloggers, big and small, to join our growing Nuffnang blogger community. :)
Yesterday, I got an email from Nuffnang telling me that they have a Dell™ Inspiron™ Mini 9 to give away. A Dell™ Inspiron™ Mini 9? My eyes lighted up as soon as I read it because I have been thinking about getting one of those mini laptops for a while now. I work on the Internet and I am already spending 12 -15 hours on the Internet but I can never get enough of it. There are just too many things to see, learn and read on the Internet and with a small portable laptop like Inspiron Mini 9 from Dell, I can be connected to the rest of the world (and blogs) even when I am on the go.
