Ksubi.com: Heavily inspired by google
Ksubi.com
They say ‘Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery’, but I am not sure what google feels about the new Ksubi.com website design which looks just like their famous minimalist design.
What I notice instantly is that Ksubi is a fashion label and the look and feel of a search engine just doesn’t work for them. I am sure they already knew this and are just doing the whole thing for a publicity stunt.
The Ksubi website is designed and developed by Reactive which is an interactive agency with offices in Melbourne, Sydney and London. They did a very good job in resembling google!
All this reminds me of a freelance web design and development project I did a year or two ago for a client who requested a website redesign that looks just like Windows Vista Media Center Edition. The client, by the way, is one of those talented people who is full of great ideas.
